Off Topic Podcast - Audio Production
In my Audio Production course, I developed skills in mixing and mastering audio for instruments, voice, radio broadcasting, ADR, and Foley. As a passion project for the class, I created the Off Topic Podcast, where I produced, edited, and distributed content across multiple platforms.
I used Pro Tools extensively for professional audio editing and implemented RSS distribution to publish the podcast on platforms including Spotify, Apple, and Amazon. In addition, I designed all branding elements, including logos, graphics, and creative assets, managing the full creative process from concept to launch.
Year: 2023
Although the project was cut short due to the school year ending, the original vision was to rotate co-hosts to bring diverse perspectives and topics to each episode. I gained hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment, including professional audio software, studio microphones, and physical mixing hardware.
This experience was especially meaningful, as it showed me how audio production can be used both creatively and behind the scenes for content production, promotion, and media strategy.
